How to Register

If you have Seeburger on premise, server's register sometimes becomes corrupted after an expected shutdown or reboot.

Steps to register:

Stop Seeburger services (Central, Process Engine or Adapter Engine)

Open a command prompt with admin rights

Move to the drive and folder where BIS is installed.
Example: cd c:\bis6 (enter)

Move to software folder
Example: cd software (enter)

And type the following three commands, waiting for their execution after each step:
export-config.bat (enter)
import-config.bat (enter)
register.bat (enter)

After that you can start Seeburger services and hopefully it's going to work as expected.

In case of errors, you will have to search the Logs.

SFTP - Polling settings

When creating SFTP Client Addresses it considered best practice to use "Polling settings". Activate the Check if file is complete with for example 500 milliseconds between checks. It will prevent incomplete files from been picked .
