BIS Front End

BIS Front End allows you to manage Partners information, Worklist, Maps and monitor processes. Access It's usually installed on Port 10000 on the Central Instance. Open a web browser and type: http://bis_central_instance_host:10000 Documentation is available on: http://bis_central_instance_host:10000/seeburger/doc Choose BIS - Front-end, it will open a JRE (Java Runtime Environment) Tip - The shortcut to BIS Front-end will be saved on Downloads folder with extension .jnlp You can copy it to another location and use it to access BIS Front-end without login into the central instance web. BIS Front-end has three tabs (or sections) : Configuration: used to setup process workflows, adapters (communication data), certificates, install maps, etc. Monitoring: used to monitor transactions (current and past processes) and access logs. Worklist handler:   used to setup and monitor the queuing BIS system.

Seeburger for the Masses

Seeburger is part of our lives, millions of  transactions are processed by this system allowing ecommerce orders to be shipped to their destination making happy customers. I will share on this blog some of the knowledge I have learned during the last years working with this integration tool, especially regarding EDI X12.
